This was my first thought. Seems strange that this was rumoured a while ago and nothing happened until now.

So nice to A) Have a competent backup and B) Have goaltenders very comfortable in their roles heading into training camp.

None of this daily watch of who is the 1A and who is 1B this week.

Management has been up front about it and are clearly paying Andersen to be the #1 55-65 game guy and Enroth to mop up the 2nd half of back-to-backs and get 25-30 games in.

That alone should help stabilize the position.
