Wow, pretty stacked lineup minus Pokahovsky and AntroGOD!

Always got a laugh when Don Cherry would mess up Poni's name. Also remember the fan base calling Antropov, AntroGOD one year he was dominant lol.

Man, how far we've come.

I just learned Ponikarovsky is still playing in the KHL

Glad to hear Matthews will be back - We performed admirably in his absence, but my heart's already grown as fond as it can.

2004? Though a lot of this team missed time due to injuries, and Leetch/Francis were deadline pick ups

Roberts - Sundin - Mogilny
Tucker - Francis - Nolan
Ponikarovsky - Nieuwendyk - Antropov
Renberg - Reichel - Domi
Kilger, Fitzgerald, Belak, Stajan

Leetch - McCabe
Kaberle - Johansson
Berg - Marchment
Klee, Berehowsky,

I suddenly want to try and find a copy of NHL 2002 or 2004

you were referencing our 2001-2002 and 2003-2004 teams right? so the video game that would go along with them would be nhl 03 and 05.
The Game Title # corresponds with the year that the current Regular Season finishes.

So the corresponding game for the 2017/18 season is 'NHL 18'

The corresponding games for the 2001/02 and 2003/04 seasons would be 'NHL 2002' and 'NHL 2004', respectively.

no, the game title corresponds with the year the current regular season finishes -1

i.e. the 2001-2002 season would be NHL 03, not NHL 2002 and the 2003-2004 season would be NHL 05, not NHL 2004.

If we can play all 60 minutes of this game like the first 40 minutes of the Tampa game I like our chances even though Nashville is a bloody good team

We've certainly proved we've got the talent it's just a matter of fine tuning

Sorry, but that's incorrect.

NHL (video game series) - Wikipedia

Each game is published in the fall, just before the Regular Season starts. So each game is published the year before the Game Title indicates. 'NHL 18' was published in the fall of 2017, to correspond with the beginning of the 2017/18 season.

Bad line change by Nylander, bad choice to grab stick by Hainsey. These things are totally fixable.

Yes, that is true, but the game is released the year before the season finishes.

'NHL 18' was released in 2017, to correspond with the 2017/18 season

'NHL 2004' was released in 2003, to correspond with the 2003/04 season

'NHL 2002' was released in 2001, to correspond with the 2001/02 season

And so on...

Chances of matthews? sure hope so!
Laine, bergeron and matthews all injured in my fantasy!
How on earth did you get all three? Matthews and Murray injuries made sure I was one and done this year lol.

I really liked how we limited Tampas shot totals

If we've been guilty of one thing this season it's bleeding shots but if we can hold teams in the mid 20's range I really like our chances against anyone

Mid 20's shot totals plus good Andersen is a strong recipe for a fairly long playoff run imo
