He's outplayed Kadri without a doubt and had great chemistry with Lupul. There's no reason to demote him.

Kadri played crappy and got demoted. He hasn't really blown the doors off anyone and really pushed for his spot back. At the same time; even if he plays better he may have to stick it out until Bolland shows he deserves to be demoted.
It's ridiculous. Bolland earns the #2C stop but must lose it to Kadri due to aesthetics. We really need to remember that Kadri has yet to produce 50 points in the NHL.

Lupul sticks with Bolland. Re-working the first, third, and fourth line is more necessary. We're really missing Clarkson and Kulemin IMO.

glad to see that Leivo will get a chance. the guy can score.

i'd also like to see kadri as our #1, bolland as our #2 and bozak as our #3.

kadri, lupul and kessel had a nice chance when the three of them were on the ice together... lupul just screwed up the finish, but it was a great play. i would love to see the three of them playing together on a line for the whole game. and since none of those guys play on the PK, that ensures that they're all fully rested and ready to play long shifts together.

All I have to say is Lupul is made of glass. I saw that play where I think he injured himself and it looked sooooo harmless.

What a shame

Good luck to all Leaf fans. If I had to pick another team it would be Toronto. I believe the last time we met it was a crazy back and forth game with lots of goals. Here's to another dandy.

I think that one was back in 2010. But I still remember it, crazy game. I think we were down 4-1 and came back to win it 5-4. Also the game Lebda tripped over himself on a powerplay at the point and gave up a break away goal. Good times.

Then what are you using for the shutdown line? Kadri and Leivo?

It's fine to say that Bolland has played better, but if you are going to give Kadri the Grabo treatment he's not going be nearly as effective out there.
Bolland will still play a shut down role. It'd be more like Bergeron. I think someone like Lupul ( or JVR) on his wing would make the line a lot more productive.

Does anyone have LeafsTV with Bell? What package are you on?
I am signing up for bell and was told that it is apart of the "better" package. True? False?

You need to remember that Bolland likewise has yet to produce 50 points in a season (which I'm assuming is what you meant, because Kadri has indeed produced over 50 points total in the NHL). In fact, Kadri's production last year was only three shy of Bolland's career high, even though it was a shortened season.

Good luck tomorrow night guys. As a Predators fan living in Toronto I hope for a nice close game, hopefully with a win in O.T. so both teams pick up at least point. I'm also excited to see more of Reilly, he has looked great so far.

Based on record v/s Preds, it will be Bernier.

That is what Hendricks tweeted, and he usually gets it right (probably has inside scoop).

Thanks, but I'd prefer a Leafs blowout ;)
