Leafs could have won this game with a bit of help from the refs.
It’s weird that people think we should automatically win after waltzing into another teams arena a with a backup in net and a night after a huge effort in Tampa.
Panther were fired up because they had Trocheck back. That’s not a bad team there at all, I’m not sure why people think they are garbage; they have a Hart Trophy caliber centre, above average wingers, capable defense and Luongo in net. Typically that team is banged up and has Reimer in net so people think they blow. With a full lineup the Panthers are no joke. Normally with Freddie in net and a fresh team we are going to take them but last night we got screwed by refs and that ridiculously fluky empty net goal.

We also have periods where we relax. Give the other team a break or two. We found out Florida didn't do the same for us.

If it makes anyone feel better, Florida is beating Nashville right now late in the third  and Reimer is in net...

babcock's solution is always, always MOAR HYMAN.

no matter what happens, the worst offensive forward on the team never loses his prime role. it's pretty amazing.

and hey, Isles are killing it and the Leafs are treading water. $11m for Johnny T.

Moore is a hyman type player so i dont get why Babs doesn't have him up....
