I think this is a great opportunity to see what we have in some of the depth defencemen.

Unfortunately Holl will get exposed early, but once he gets his feet under him, I'm excited to see what he can do. I think he can be real useful guy if he uses his size to box out and pin the opposition. Not sure there's much left to see in MM anymore, but he's a solid #6.

Hopefully Rosen/Borgman heal up soon, as I think they'd both fit wonderfully on this squad, as well. Borgman can be a bruiser and Rosen would be an excellent compliment to the transition game.

Tavares with a hat trick to set a new career high in goals!
I'm all for that positive prediction. Definitely a perfect time for it :).

Leafs can just go out there and play a strong game. Have a banged up blueline, but just means the team needs to step up. Carry the load defensively and lean on their ability to score some big goals in bunches.

No Kadri, Andersen, Gardiner and Dermott.
And the Isles are gonna be fired up for this game...

Don’t want to be the pessimistic guy but we’re probably losing this..

We could be in 3rd place in the NHL and 2nd in the division (and conference) at the end of the night

To be honest I think this is going to be an ugly game, too many things working against us. Hope I'm wrong....

They laid an egg when the Isles beat us 4-0 here. Better not start slow tomorrow because Isles are stingy when it comes to giving up goals.
Islanders have given up 20 goals in the last 5 games, as they're coming down to earth. Again, I'm not worried about goal scoring.

Actual reporter question to Tavares: "Do you understand why the fans are upset?"

Expecting a wild game. I wish we had a Milbury so he could jump into the stands and beat someone with his own shoe.

Babs: "If your knees don't hit the kitchen table your opinion probably doesn't matter"
Leafs media will spin this as a negative to attack him. Guaranteed.

Can someone explain this quote please? I didn’t understand what it meant when Bab’s said it in the presser.

Islanders are dead last in average attendance in the NHL. Even Florida is better.

I expect a lot of Leaf fans in that building.

Anyone tweeting NHL officiating...

The NHL better make sure than any shit on the ice is penalized. We will kill them on the PP.

Expecting a loss here, back to back, sharts in the cage on the road, questionable d lineup..... gonna need a matthews 2 goal night to win.
