Doesn't mean it doesn't make a difference. I could see Dubas doing it. He traded a first round pick for the corpse of a guy who wasn't worth a first round pick in his prime last year, and beefed up in general between Thornton, Simmonds, Bogosian, Nash, etc. But I don't want him.

you don't go "all in" when your first round opponent is Tampa. They probably have the toughest path out of any team in the postseason currently.

Last year was definitely the year and they spent a lot of picks. I don't think that will be repeated. I also don't think he'll be gone if they lose a close series to Tampa and I doubt he makes moves with his job security in mind.
