Maybe because you generally wouldn't call giving up a 1st and two former 2nd rd picks for a second pairing dman a great deal?

Muzzin is, and always has been, a very good #2 dman.

what do you think is the right price for one of those?

The hindsight crowd comes out of the woodwork. Grundstrom scores 2 goals on 2 shots and all of a sudden he is the next Ovechkin. Seriously people, you cannot acquire a top 2-4 dman for nothing.
