Agreed 100%. I believe the Jets have severely botched the development of Laine and if he's to maximize his potential, it needs to be with another team.

its mind boggling to think that Laine only has 31g/50pts in his last 84 games (including playoffs) while the guy leafs fans had to hear wasnt as good for nearly a year after being drafted, has 50pts in 42 games this season

If the Jets trade for Stone which was reported on insider trading that the Jets would be interested in him, I say 0 - 5 would be a fair expectation for him as he would likely be pushed down to the 3rd line.

In all honesty Jets should probably just trade him while he still has a little bit of value. Could possibly get a mid 1st, a decent prospect and some solid depth players for him from a team that is desperate right now.

I'll say 11. Regardless of whether he's developed some bad habits, he's too talented for this to continue. His numbers are bound to normalize at least somewhat.

I went 10-15, What blows my mind though is that before this season started some fans were saying that Laine would be taking the rocket from Ovechkin and that Laine will finish with more career goals than Ovechkin when its all over. This season is 100% a damaging blow to any hopes of Laine scoring more than Ovi in their careers.

2018-19: 25 <-- huh, this was actually his best season scoring wise for the first 50 games.. wtf??

Anyways, I vote for 10-15.

You can t compare this! This season is very goal-rich. Much players could make over 50+ this season.
