If he keeps playing on the second line with Little, he will score somewhat above 0 and below 10 goals. If the Jets manage to find a "better" center player, he might likely score more than 10 goals. With "better" I mean someone that can develop a better chemistry with Laine. Little and Laine, this just doesn't work. It isn't Little's fault, neither is it Laine's fault. Little is still a decent second line center.

You make it sound like he's Puljujärvi. Last three seasons combined, he is still second in goals after Ovechkin. While the recent trend has been horrid, you can't deny what he has done.
Given from the continuum of hyperbole from both sides of the Jets fanbase, he'll either have 40 goals or 1.
