50ish EVS pts in a year is very nice. He should have 25-30 pp pts and be ~ppg player

This is correct, he gets PP2 time but the Rangers hardly send that unit out there. It's common to see the unit of Zibanejad, Panarin, Kreider, Trocheck, and Fox to get 1:30 or more on a PP, and they ALWAYS get sent out. The PP2 never starts the power play or anything.

He had 19 goals as a 20 year old all even strength. He averages only 17 mins per game this season.

If this guy got a decent shake with top line minutes and 1st PP unit he could be scoring 40.

in fairness...nobody gets much pp time because we get maybe 1-2 a game, including 0 tonight.

I was one of the people at the beginning of the season saying he was a bust based on his pre draft hype but I have to say, he's doing a lot better. Interested to see if he can keep building on this season with some more PP/ice time. Good for him
