Mine is Slavin (2 PIM) but Spurgeon (6PIM) wouldn't be a bad choice either.. sorry Matthews (10PIM) but your not in my top 2.
Slavin on and off the ice fits the bill. (I don't know Spurgeon enough to say that.)

He doesn’t need to “cheat” to be effective.

He was a slightly off-target clearing attempt away from having 0 PIM while playing top level defense.

This is an award I would think the Leafs hope Matthews stops being a contender for. He's very disciplined, which is good, but he needs more of an edge to his game. More of a killer instinct. With his size and strength he needs to be getting dirty.
