I don’t know what Puyol has been up to post retirement but he should be included in the next sporting project in some capacity. Barca needs it’s heart back

Week 2 and already a red card a penalty and an own goal needed to win... if barca werent in shambles this would be a cakewalk.

Nah Barca will win it, in a competition of failed giants and Barca won't be able to fire Koeman because of it :D

Not just that he's playing great in the build up. Criminal to leave him out for most of the CL game last season.

Now a goal too.
He was injured a lot at the end of last season and never really fit. Simeone did the right thing resting him to get him ready for the next season.

It’s also the first game of the season. We’ll see how he does in January. With his fitness and playing under Simeone don’t expect 6-1 wins every week
He was absolutely electric. Two goals and an assist, had a few other chances as well with only like 1 training session with the team. The talks of his demise were greatly exaggerated IMO.

Well barca fans have watched him week in and out for years now but ok. Just go look at his CL scoring record. I mean ya he will score goals he did score last year no one was thinking that his production will fall off a cliff. Barca needed an upgrade and he was the first to say it. If he accepted a rotational role then barca shouldve kept him. But a change was needed.

He had bad CL history for a while but he was scapegoated as well imo. He was their best CL producer last year for example. I think they should’ve kept him to keep Messi happy at least. He is their 2nd best forward Imo.
