It was enough for people to crucify RNH after last year’s playoffs, even though he was excellent against the Sharks
And had I seen those posts, I'd have likely said the same.

I’d hope so, since the two are crazy comparable. Bashing Turris is silly, he’s a great 2C.
Since getting out of Arizona:
Turris: 472 games, 316 points, .667 PPG
Nuge: 457 games, 313 points, .685 PPG
That 600 games was in the past. Players start to decline at various ages...
The answer to Nashville winning the Stanley Cup .
Nashville need to find a trading partner for Rinne 1 yr 7 000 000
clearing 7 000 000 off the cap.
To Nashville
Carey Price 20 % retained 2 .100 000
8 .400 000 cap hit.
To Montreal
Kyle Turris - 6 000 000 cap hit
A- level prospect
1st rd pick 2019
Montreal gains 2 .400 000 in cap space.
Nashville gains 4 .600 000 in cap space to spend in free agency or to a player received in the Rinne trade.
No thanks. Isles made the decision to gamble on loyalty bringing Tavares back. If they wouldn't trade him at the TDL when prices are highest, I see little reason to panic at the 11th hr and take an unwanted return
How did Nashville got Ott 2019 1st and their own 2018 2nd round pick back from Avs?Kyle Turris + + for Matt Duchene
Duchene to Nashville made sense pre-ottawa trade.
Turris + Ott 2019 1st + Smith + Nash 2018 2nd for Duchene + Hoffman
Since the isles are waiting until Tavares talks to other teams, in the last week of June +July , that will be a neat trick ( getting his rights before he talks to other teams)

Clearly... the fix for an expensive goalie that fails in high stakes games is to trade him off and then spend a ton of assets bring in an even higher paid goalie that also has a history of mediocrity in high stakes games.
Yeah... good call
If NSH is gonna move a C, it'll be Bonino, not Turris
If you are going to sign Tavares, you might be better off trading Turris and his 6M caphit, while keeping the more definsively reponsible Bonino for your bottom 6
Rinne was the issue for Nashville these playoffs. They should trade him because his value is only going to lower. And Saros is probably ready for the starting job.
rough postseason for sure but the devil you know is better than the devil you dont. Starting 20 games is far different than starting 60. Rinne is still a Vezina caliber goalieRinne was the issue for Nashville these playoffs. They should trade him because his value is only going to lower. Rinne and bonino for the rights of TavaresIslanders will take Rinne off your hands.
Nelson + 2nd + prospect
or
Josh Bailey Straight up to give you guys more scoring and he's a decent two-way centre or wing
