That's a tough one. We're so lucky to sign Raymond. If we didn't sign him, we would be screwed.

Lupul
Kulemin
?

Phaneuf should sign for 5.5M now :sarcasm:

He's taking out his teammates so he could get more money next year! People were right about him, such a cancer.

What's next? He's going to take Kessel out and put him on LTIR so he can he get a 12M contract..

:shakehead

In your nightmares
let's not jinx anything with such stupid talk... these things happen. Just shows that they go hard at practice which is refreshing. He blocked a shot... could have been worse then just 2 weeks.

apperently on a phaneuf blocked shot in practice. big loss

Boy, Phaneuf sure likes taking out teammates
Lupul, Kulemin....

i prefer this over a trade :p

2 weeks... here's a first glimpse of what we're made of... good test boys.

this explains the Spencer Abbot recall, (I was wondering about that).

man games lost are starting to pile up now - but rather now than during the March/April.

Are we going to let Phaneuf walk this summer before he takes out Kessel next ? He's really got to stop injuring his teammates though...

Getting a bit thin with the callups though. Guys going down all over the place.

Who blocks shots in practice? Seems like an unnecessary risk. I hope it wasn't an intentional block, but more of a no time to get out of the way type of thing.

Why wouldn't they? Blocking shots is a skill like any other and they won't learn how to do it properly by winging it in a game where the shooters won't care about them and points are on the line. When you are a tam that blocks as many shots as we do it probably is hard to get out of blocking mode anyways practice or not.

You have to wonder about playing as hard at practice as a game philosophy.

Orr should be dropping the gloves and pounding Lupul senseless, Kulemin should be drilling Phaneuf into the boards, Kadri should be diving all over the ice, ...

I understand the thought process, but think that is like using real bullets and trying to kill each other during war games so that everyone gets up to speed.

Kule must've been hit by a shot that was going high and wide. :sarcasm:

But sucks. He clocked 2nd most SH TOI/game for Leafs (for a forward). Bolland or JvR might be upped to first unit. and Bozak to 2nd unit to replace one of the above.

Shea Weber lets up in practice and he still manages to injure a teammate every once in a while. Very unfortunate.

Mclement will now get a chance to play a bigger role.
