Svech is scoring at pretty much the same rate as Kotka, it’s hilarious seeing how much people can flip flop based on such a small size of pretty much identical play.

Way harder to play center in the NHL than winger. Not even close to being debatable.

I'd take any of them on my Sharks. Very different players. All bring a dimension to be appreciated on any team. A thorough "dunno" is my answer.

The point was to show an upwards trajectory, I'm sure. Having a fast start and trailing off(Think Tkachuk) isn't nearly as impressive as having a slow start and improving. The latter's far more important for future projection.

The reality is that Kotkaniemi has already overtaken Svechnikov as a player and he also has a higher potential for improvement. Not only that, but he plays the more important position. Anyone picking Svechnikov instead of him is out for lunch.
