Well, from what I've read about him, he plays some defense, which automatically makes him different from every other player on our roster right now.

It's Chimera all over again. He played well enough defense on his previous team, but the years and wear and tear have made him worse. And here we are to guarantee him significant money for the next four years to a guy who peaked as a third liner.
