Anyone missing Gorges? Feels like we sort of replaced him with Emelin on his good side, who can bring so much more and Weaver who's as good defensively and more physical. Gilbert is also looking good so far overall, good size, good stick/pokecheck/hairstyle. Gotta admit Bergevin and his team knows what they are doing.
Also Bouillon not signed yet (at least to a 1 way contract).

We have so many options for call backs when injuries occurs in any position.

Feels good man.

Beaulieu has one thing going for him in my eyes that a lot of Dmen in Mtl I felt had issues with in the last years and it's actually getting the puck out of the zone. He might not be a stellar defender at this point or jump in front of shots the way Gorges or Weaver did, but he will not have to block as many shots by actually getting the puck out of the zone.

Bourque always has trouble accepting breakout passes from teh D. Almost like he isn't able to accept a pass from behind.

With Gilbert, Markov, Subban and Beaulieu on D, it will be inexcusable if the habs have trouble transitioning the puck again this year.

Even Emelin is prettty good and Weaver as a 6th is not bad at it either.

No more Gorges and dummies like Murray does that to your team.
