According to Capfriendly they still have a whopping $10K available in cap space after Labanc call up.

Well, they have to send someone down to get Labanc up, right? Would that by itself not create enough cap space?

Everything has looked good on paper. But for some reason they look like junk on ice lately.
I made a mistake, I posted that I thought the Sharks had 624k in cap space, but it was actually 725k. I apologize for the confusion.

If Labanc plays? Honestly, given the nature of our scoring issues, I would be surprised if he does not play. Now, if we were on a 3 game winning streak, I may believe that this call-up was more to do with rewarding him for his AHL success but we can use scoring right now. Something he can help with more than the players he would be replacing in Haley, Nieto, Karlsson or Wingels. Those 4 players have a combined 7 points in 36 games played this year.
For all that I care, send Tierney down before he needs waivers. He has only 2 points in 12 games and needs a kick in his ass. Last time he got sent down he responded well. Maybe time to do that again.
Sad but true.
And if he goes pointless, he is a bust.
