JVR > Hayes

Easily.

The fact that people bitch so much more about the former is absolutely nuts and shows some pretty clear bias. Better play driver, better scorer, less braindead plays on the ice.

On top of that, the problem is Hayes is looking this shit already and he's still signed for 4 more years after this one. If this is the garbage we're currently seeing, I can't even imagine how bad it's going to get as he progresses into his 30s.

Clear bias LOL, you don’t say.

They both suck , JVR won’t get 20 pts this year. The regression in both is very apparent

You’ve been bitching about him and Jake for years, in spite of their continued great play.

Don’t pretend this year's scoring had anything to do with it.

Nothing. Retain 50% or buyout. Either one works.

Or he stays and has his regular 50 point season under a new coach.

The problem with JVR has been fit.
He's limited, but very good within those limitations.
I'd put him at LW with Hayes, they worked together well before.

G - Couts - TK
JVR - Hayes - Atkinson
Lindblom - Frost - Farabee
Brassard - Laughton - Allison
you can move Allison up when ready, and Atkinson down, he could play on any line and should get 2+ minutes on the PK.

Lindblom ain't getting near the 3rd line anytime soon.

I was critical and defensive of Jake,,,, JVR is BRUTAL this year, you say no, Everyone disagrees.

Continued great play for JVR , really ?

"In spite of THEIR continued great play "

Their is not singular fyi.

Waste time claiming JVR is great this year , probably a good idea.

This sentence is past tense:

You’ve been bitching about him and Jake for years, in spite of their continued great play.

I’m talking about the previous 3+ years when both were on the team.

Currently? JVR isn’t playing “great” but he hasn’t been anything even remotely like you’ve described either. We’ve already been over this and you’re still attacking the version of him in your head, instead of the version on the ice.
