There were a few here who boldly pronounced that Kerfoot has no chance at ever suiting up in the NHL.
Suiting up? In a salary cap league virtually anyone has a chance of suiting up.

We're past the point as a franchise to have to hang our hats on the Kerfoots and the Blake Colemans of the world
we have legitimate forward prospects now

if NYR are truly in on him, you can bet they'll try him out with vesey to recreate harvard magic
For sure.
I think he ends up in Vancouver, though. Too many connections and too much smoke for me to believe otherwise.
i thought somewhere indicated that he was definitely out on vancouver?
edit: see page 1 - zippy said friedman stated it somewhere
I missed that.
NYR it is, then, most likely. Honestly, I couldn't care less.
I don't get why anyone assumes he's signing with the Rangers aside from the bogeyman and the fact they've signed a few college FA's before. I don't see the logic of him going there where he's not likely to play immediately versus Vegas or Vancouver other than the bright lights
i could care less if kerfoot signs with the rangers...but has butcher been linked to new york at all? THAT would bother me
nyr one of 3 teams on kerfoots list per brooks

Does it suck to lose a free asset? Yes.
Is losing Kerfoot a big deal whatsoever? No.
Would Kerfoot be among the Devils top 10-12 best prospects? No.
Thats all we need to say.
