Even with your cherry picked stats (you conveniently omitted the 2011) season, your match is wrong.
His actual save % in your cherry picked time frame is .916 (676 saves against 738 shots), however you should be including his 2010/11 playoff season as well, so since he became the starting goaltender his playoff save % is .920.
Over the last 5 seasons Price has a .920 save %.
That's including a rough series that he was playing with an injury as well.
And he was .925 going into last game. This is the thing, you're talking about very small samples. One game can swing the percentage five points...
Bottom line is that he's been very good since 2011 - where he took the eventual cup winners to game seven overtime. And to be fair, he hasn't lost a playoff series since 2011 too. 2013 we were on the verge of tying the series up when he was run and the Sens tied the game. We went on to lose that game and the series with Budaj in net. We easily could've won that series too.
He won two series last year before getting knocked out and we won this series with him standing on his head in game six. He's won Olympic gold in this time to boot.
Seriously man, there's little to be unhappy about in terms of how he's played.
