Hopefully, Kapanen can make the Leafs in the next few years.
He had no points when he was with them last season for a short time.

If he doesn't evolve into a scoring machine, the Leafs are very strong at the top. A fast two-way player is all that one really needs now. If he's defensively-aware, that's more required then any point-producing capability.

I was about to edit. I just perused twitter too and there was no indication regarding that.

At the very least the fact that he's skating (along with Leipsic) is encouraging.

Both. He shoots right and quite often plays the right side as he did today, but he has played the left side.
