The Alzner contract really isn't dreadful. GMs have gotten much better at controlling themselves when it comes to UFA's

I've seen plenty of Caps fans say he's really beaten down physically, so I don't think this deal will age well.

Ah, it's nice sitting back being able to watch other GMs get sucked into terrible UFA contracts.

I mostly wanted to see who would make the Alzner mistake, and it's extra-satisfying that it is Montreal.
