Plekanec is the “neutral gear” of the hockey world.

Doesn’t really do anything well.....won’t help you win much, won’t cause you to lose much.....just kind of a guy who takes up a roster spot.

One day looks like a #2C the next 4 looks like a #3 then can look like a 4 or AHL fodder for a week.
