He's playing in a role that suits him and he's been very effective. Nice to see him get rewarded.

He’s a long way from scoring 15 NHL goals. First, he has to sustain his play long enough to earn a regular spot in the lineup. Then, he’d presumably have to earn a spot in the middle 6 with some more talented players and more ice time. Is it ‘possible?’ Sure. Would I bet money on it? No. I have to see a lot more yet. He does have the physical tools though.

He’s got 3 in 11 games. I’ll take that kind of production from a bottom six player any day.

Give the Goat credit. He’s changed his game to stay in the NHL. And in the process, it seems that he’s pushed Reaves out of a job

I think Kreider - when he came up - was similar to Gauthier.
I’d like those two to play on a line together.

I'm so glad to see Gauthier sticking with the Rangers, and making the most of his opportunity. He's earned it. I've seen him play in Charlotte years ago, and he dominated, so I knew that one day it would pay off for him in the NHL.
