Yams might have a secondary assist on a PP goal but thats it

he's been horrible all season and started on the 4th line last game
Really, has anyone we drafted this year outside the top ten picks not been bad or at least mediocre?

Hell, RNH has had a woefully mediocre year.

Goddamn we suck at drafting.

A lot of people calling out McDavid forget this team wouldn’t sniff the playoffs without him.

No shit, Sherlock.

This is such an annoying take. I like Connor as much as anyone else and obviously acknowledge that the Oilers wouldn’t be in the playoffs without him.

Does that absolve him from playing like shit in the playoffs generally to this point in his career? No. Does it make is better that as the captain he panicked and was a major factor in throwing the game? No.

As much as everyone is all over the “depth” in this game, it wasn’t the depth lines getting absolutely smoked for the last 20 minutes of the game to the point that they couldn’t even get possession of the puck most points. That was the top line with our top players on it.

It isn’t a comfortable conversation, but Connor has been ass the entirety of the series. Leon has elevated, Connor hasn’t. Teams appear to have a template to stop him (trap, collapse to the net, get bodies on him) that he apparently isn’t capable of playing through. Leafs, Habs and now Jets have all played this way this season and each time he can’t fight through it. He will need to figure this out to get anywhere in the playoffs in his career, because it’s obvious teams have him figured out and it’s obvious that he has no answer for it.

Archibald has played cheap and dirty since high school in MN FFS. He carries on the legacy of his cheap ass dirty playing dad Jim Archibald, who set penalty minute records in college.
Nice legacy douchebag.

So much cold hard truth in this post.

This commentator is AWFUL. Winnipeg could be getting a hot dog and this guy would start yelling.

Nice legacy douchebag.

Maybe the Ducks should trade for him in the offseason

Sounds like he fooled around with your mom while he was at it.

This post has got to be either a joke or you have some personal vendetta against him and his family.

Archibalds penalty last night was dumb, but I like him. He’s got a ton of hustle and is great on the kill.

One guy who needs to exit the lineup is Bear though. He’s been awful, I’d much rather see them give Bouchard a shot in that spot
