I really hope he hired a skating coach.
Did he? Is he looking faster?
“The rarity is that he is a heavy guy in the sense that he’s heavy along the ramps, he’s a playoff guy” explained Joël Bouchard. “He knows his progression will be made possible by that. The rest will follow but it takes that presence, to play the right way, to be contagious, to bring sandpaper. He’s not only a guy who hits and runs everywhere but he has a physical presence and a good presence in the offensive zone.”
In the same press conference, Bouchard noted that it will take time for Teasdale to get ready for the NHL and he also said that the player was the first one who realised so. After 21 months away from the game because of an injury and then a global pandemic, that’s normal but the performance from #14 during this trip is a real reminder that this pathway does exist.
If Teasdale could develop into a legit NHL starter (in next 12-months) that would be some real found gold for the Habs cap.

Is he a bad skater, or is he just carrying around such a big frame? He's listed as 6-0 203 while other 1999 births Poehling is 6-2 204, and Ylonen is 6-1 173.
He's quite heavy for his height and age.
Finally!
Finally!
With his legs' injuries, will it be possible to improve that ?Haven't watched him this year but if he can get his skating where it needs to be he'd be a very welcome addition to the habs.

Seriously, about time. The guy is gonna make his debut and retirement tour at the same time.
A few years ago he looked like he might have something, only to be curtailed by mishap after mishap.
Best of luck to him and stays healthy now.
He was the better player in the Memorial Cup he played against Suzuki.
And since then has played 26 games in 2.5 years.
Hopefully, he does enough to get a new pro contract.
