Not sure who said that....clearly he didn't like Sekac but true that he's not a rookie hater. Though....he likes mostly defensive rookies. DLR doesn't have more points than Sekac and Eller combined yet....we ALL know that Therrien LOVES DLR. And strangely, has no problem using him as a C while Galchy, an offensive stud, can't surpass a guy like DD in the lineup. We do know that Pateryn and Tinordi wouldn't be here without injuries. What else do we have? Allen?
And as of now, from Bournival to Thomas, they are all here because of injuries. What vets do we have in Hamilton? So he's not a rookie hater. Nobody can say that. But it's not like he has tons of options.
Why didn't he like Sekac? Who knows....would it be the first mistake by a coach? His defensive game I guess though....is DD, Thomas, Bournival and Co perfect?
