Other than on empty nets I don't think anyone ever gives assists to help someone else they make the assists because either they're better assist guys than scorers or because they think that moving the goalie side to side gives them a better chance to score than a shot.
Then you haven't seen enough soccer. Hockey players are saints to their teammates.

Yeah, might be sad.....but a shutout is difficult enough in itself.
then adding 2 more consecutively and depending on WHO you play, like what if Colorado was next opponent? Anyone taking bets to shut them out? Or, Florida? Thankfully its the Islanders. We OWE them a whitewashing, but NEED TO score 1st, and 2nd and then an empty netter, exactly like Winnipeg. Recipe for success vs those shitheads. Get it!
I'm SO tired of that stinking team OWNING us! ENOUGH ALREADY! Let's hope the Ranger players feel the same.

Percentage wise we're tied. But we are still one goal shy.

Not what NHL.com says. GA says 188, tied with Carolina and below Calgary.

My memory isn't what it used to be but, was it Kreider that scored the EN goal one game where he was going to pass it off but Panarin abruptly stopped skating and turned away? Essentially forcing him to score?

Or was that someone other than Kreider?
Believe it was the other way. Panarin wanted to pass to Kreider who already had two goals in the game and it was Kreider who turned away

They must be using a different metric (standard of measurement).

its prob getting messed up with shootouts. you lost 3-2 in a shootout and it says u gave up 3 goals, but u really only gave up 2.

As I was saying your method was counting the shootout, NHL.com doesn't. I downloaded the schedule and did some math:

Shesty will be holding the Cup, the Conn Smythe, the Vezina, and the Hart. Georgiev will be traded by then, Hank and Vally will stand in for the Jennings trophy.

So if NYR win the William Jennings, do Shesty and Georgiev share it?

Because if so that'd be f***ing hilarious.
It's only fair they have to fly out Georgiev for the NHL Awards for the Jennings award, he was partially responsible for the rise in scoring this year.

It's not really "that bad" just probably the last 2 years. Imagine how Carolina fans feel in regard to our domination over the years.
Now that I think about it, probably a reason why they want 1st, just to not have us "TAKE IT FROM THEM". They did have a huge lead at one pont.
