I think they are afraid he wont dominate there. It's not an easy league. Very physical. They are coddling him up here with the big club.

It would be very concerning if that's what they thought.

I'm just tired of watching this management making the wrong decisions time after time. KK should be in Laval, everyone knows it but MB.

We'll the groceries aren't exactly fresh most of the time either though lol

Really, which prospects looked bad before they turned pro?

Look at a guy like McCarron, in his last year of Juniors, he was producing well over a ppg in the regular season and nearly a ppg in the playoffs, on top of that he was one of the best defensive players in the league, had immense size and a nasty streak. He came into the AHL and produced at near a ppg pace to start his pro career. There's no way you can say he was a bad prospect at that point in time, but then management started dicking around with his development, called him up too early, barely played him and when they did it was with grinders, sent him back down to the AHL after sucking all confidence from him and told him not to focus on offence because he was going to be a bottom-six player.

If you went to a restaurant where the cook had a habit of taking a dump on the food, would you fire the guy who buys the groceries when the meals turn out gross?

In Boston, a whole lot of food turned out great. Did he suddenly forgot where the bathroom was? Then, since he shits in food whilei everybody notices him doing, even in boss, wouldn't you question the asshole who keeps a cook who dumps in food?

Since his boss sees him shit in food and still keeps him, isn't that an admission that maybe shitting in the food might be a way to improve the more than shitty groceries the boss bought himself?

Everybody and their mother are PPG or close to it in their last year of Juniors. Matt Bradley. 2 seasons PPG in juniors. Today, he's not even good enough for the ECHL. And there's a millionth more examples...

everybody seems to blame the organization for failed prospects, which i agree somewhat,

but at some point in time, the blame has to be on the player,

maybe we are just over hyping our prospects, and they arn't NHL caliber players to begin with, and never will be, no matter what you do with them

KK jumped in the draft ranks because he had a good WJC, but one tournament doesn't mean much

i think KK is over hyped, he might be a 4th liner or something, i don't see him ever being a big impact player, just like chucky

Almost every high draft pick looks good to the fans. Drafting guys that can barely skate in the first round usually won't get you far though.

Truth is, they should both be canned and the amateur scouting revamped

Good decision, but also a major setback. I wonder how is he gonna look playing lumberjack hockey under Bouchard.

If Bergevin is intelligent, next one to go or should have gone with JK is Poehling. Then....play your vets out. Like there's no tomorrow, hope they do well personnally, but not that well so we'd wouldn't win that much, and sell some of them for picks. Then if Laval is about to miss the playoffs, recall the kids (JK, Poehling, Evans, Vejdemo, Fleury) and play the hell out of them till the end.

Maybe they are gonna sell and tank finally.that’s what a lot of people on hfb were asking for. Send down the kids. Play your bottom lines vets and tank properly.
