sabres 4 points back at the all star break and starting to have teams that are in expand the gap, what would it cost to pry a pending ufa tied for second in goals away from the sabres?
Which team do you think they could pass in the standings and if skinner is serious about considering buffalo he can sign on July firstSo a team that is on the cusp of a playoff push themselves, and one of the best sport stories this year, is just going to trade an upcoming UFA?
Ok, so, what would buffalo trade for skinner themselves? A 1st and a good prospect? So what would it take them to give up on this season?
So the answer is yes, you're special. Ok carry on.
It’s not like it hasn’t happened before*Every media source has indicated.
Skinner has a NTC. He accdpted the trade to Buffalo for the final season of his contract.
It's not a stretch to think he's interested in re-signing there.
He'd get the usual haul, a first plus good prospect.
Idk he got the chance to prove he can play with talent with Eichel on his contract year and he hasn’t been in the ploffs in a long time so I could see him being willing to go to some team for a couple months for a cup run .He probably wont, he wanted to go to Buffalo and has NMC. Buffalo likely wont be able to deal him anywhere.
That 4 point gap can turn into a 2 point lead in the wc race too, never heard of a team having peaks in valleys ? And there are multiple teams with the 4 to 8 point range, plenty of time to gain ground.Really you can't see him on the market? sure they are only 4 points back now but the deadline is a month away and the way they are playing that 4 point gap can grow to 10 points real fast

Sometimes it does. Hard to say where the Sabres will end up in the standings for several reasons. Not the least of which is Sabres GM Jason Botterill's comments on expecting reinforcements in the 2nd half of the season to show up from the Sabres AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, who are putting up one hell of a season right now. Guys like C.J. Smith, Danny O'Regan, Viktor Olofsson are all wingers, age 23/24. They are showing they are ready.Of course I have heard of peaks and valleys but valleys don't last nearly 2 months
Probably best to waive NTC to get exposure w/ a team in the playoffs and increase his contract value.
Hope sabres could get a 1st for him..
