I expected him to be worse than he was outside of the offensive zone. He wasn't good but he wasn't terrible I thought.

I mean, wingers have so little defensive responsibility relative to the other 2 skating positions that you have to be really, really good or catastrophically bad to make much of an individual impact. I don't think Skinner falls in either of those categories. He's not good defensively, but he's not a disaster either.
