His help in shoring up the Blues' back end was underappreciated in my opinion. With both him and Pietrangelo gone, The Blues move from being a defence-based team, to a question mark. We'd better hope that Mikkola develops quickly into a very solid defenceman, and that Perunovich will be a solid, better than average in his own zone, player, and that Krug can rise to the occasion of being asked to be a 2-way D-man.

It’s still weird to think that I was at the game that it happened. Even weirder that because of said event, I was one of the several hundred Blues fans there to see Pietrangelo play his last Blues game in front of fans...
