That's just incorrect, as I watched almost every game Northeastern played and Struble was never at RD. But if you don't believe me, feel free to go through and see if you can find him playing any RD.
It wasn’t about believing you or not as I know you are well-versed on what is going on in the NCAA. I just got the impression that the link was credible. Oh well, no bueno.

I didn’t mean to put you through all that, so sry. o_O

no problem, hopefully some people clicked on those links as it is fun to look back at two NHLers playing together in the NCAA.

I laughed out loud at this, no one else on this site can just link 20 of their own cut videos as backup to a claim. Thanks for all that you do @montreal !

Non contact.. usually not good news at all. Speculation is either knee or achilles.
His legs were really, oddly spread apart when he entered the zone. Not sure what he was trying to do. The only thing I saw was it looked like Malkin got him in the nuts with his stick when he was chasing him. Then Struble started to go down. There really was no other indication of injury. Hopefully just a pulled muscle.

Any update on Struble's injury? This kid has made watching the Habs somewhat tolerable in recent weeks.

Good thing Xhekaj and Roy are emerging. They're fun to watch...

With Struble's injury history this is worrisome. But we await the press release to know the reality either way.

good to hear, and it has been nice to see Kovacevic get some games.

Struble has to be one of the best new additions to the roster. I am excited to see Struble grow. He thinks the game really well. He's reminded me of a few different former habs for different reasons, but lately I wonder if he's a Josh Gorges with more ability. I think Struble could get by on the NHL on smarts alone, but he brings some interesting elements.

I guess Struble having played over 50 games no longer makes him a prospect.
My question- he is part of the future core from #7 to somewhere in the top 6?
I personally really like this player who is still very raw.
There is some uncertainty with Xhekaj's long term shoulder health to consider.

Habs have time with him, just curious what people think of his upside.

Struble’s combo of size + mobility puts him above Barron & Harris on depth chart IMO

I also expect the truculence aspect of his game to become more evident as he gets more comfortable in the NHL w experience

I think he’s got an outside shot at developing into top-4

On this team will be a 5 and can easily hold his own in a top 4 role

i think he's a solid bet to be a top 4 guy for a bottom 1/3rd team in the league, and a bottom pairing guy on the type of team the Habs want to become in the next couple years. i do think he could fill in on the top 4 on a contending team if injuries happen.

his absolute upside is probably Romanov-esque.

I think the Habs are more invested into Xhekaj than Struble right now. While MSL prefers Harris.

And there are more D prospects coming soon who might just make him drop farther down.

Like Romanov, he's going to be traded sooner than later.
