Can't say I've watched more than highlight reels from colbourne, but from every account I've heard about him from flames fans, it's that he's atrocious on the pp and doesn't belong there

Just sayin... Colborne will make it worse. I wouldn't put him in the top 8 or 9 of PP forwards on the team. I'd have Comeau skate out there before Colborne.

Well, I certainly didn't think they could make the man-advantage much worse but if he's THAT bad then geez...hope they move someone in there but fast.

His production on the PP last year was bad...1.66 PP60, good for 6th among forwards on the team. But his GF60 was 4rd. (among those with 25+ PP minutes). I read that as he does stuff that helps the team score, but does not generate himself points. So he is an active passenger, maybe....good at screens, but not so good with the puck?

Or actually, he is just a passenger. His linemate's GF60 is higher without him than with him. Not by much, but enough to show that he is at best not as good as the other guys they tried in his spot.

For reference, his PP60/PP would have put him 9th on the Avs last year, among forwards with 25+ minutes. Just ahead of Mitchell, and less than half that of Comeau. Heck, Comeau would have been 4th for CGY forwards.
