We’ll have to see the details but he’s not cooked or anything. His P/60 at 5v5 was 1.85 & his G/60 was 1.29 last year. That would have fifth highest & first on the Flyers last year.

Four would make sense with the potential timeline of guys like Allison, Ratcliffe, Farabee, etc. I'm hoping for 3 or 4.

The Flyers are not going to give JVR 6-7 million to put him on the third line. Provided he and Patrick have an ounce of chemistry, they'll be together on the second line with Voracek.

Simmonds might be gone by this time tomorrow. I think it's likely at this point with them bringing on a long term JVR deal.

I’d be okay with a JVR-Patrick-Voracek line.

First couple years in Toronto he was the tallest midget, then the last three years he seems to have become a complete player (well, except for things like hitting).
Played with Bozak last year, with a split between Brown and Marner on the other wing. Basically their 3LW.

If the price is right, he's be a good fit with Frost and Simmonds on the 3rd line, that would be a lot of skill and speed.
