I am worried because of the Kane deal. JVR and his agent can easily point to that and say they deserve the same at minimum, and really more.

So really, 7-7.5 is the range that seems to be "market" value.

Time to see if Hextall was able to work any magic.

The Flyers are not going to give JVR 6-7 million to put him on the third line. Provided he and Patrick have an ounce of chemistry, they'll be together on the second line with Voracek.

Simmonds might be gone by this time tomorrow. I think it's likely at this point with them bringing on a long term JVR deal.
