KK, Norlinder, Guhle will be 25-26 when Price's contract is over, that's perfect. MTL won't win a cup as long as Weber has no legit partner and Price takes 10.5m of your cap and your two centers are still a long way from their potential. And maybe at that point Bergevin or at least Julien/Timmins will be gone

At the beginning of the year the rumor was if the Sabres were terri-bad again Eichel was likely to demand a trade.

This isn't even close. None of these players are good enough to entertain trading Eichel for. Gaudreau is UFA after next year, and Monahan is UFA after 2.5 years from now. Sabres could be left with next to nothing.

2021 isn't a good draft. And Valimaki is coming off major surgery.
