Yes

But I think we really saw the value of Vanacek's greater experience with the pro game tonight. His first game in the bigs but he didn't look out of place at all.

Today was a glimpse into why many of us here have wanted Vanecek to get a chance as the 1B this year, dating back to last year! So happy for him. He definitely deserves this chance and I’m glad we didn’t have to potentially lose him on waivers. Hope he succeeds long-term, with Sammy!
