Not singling you out specifically, but seriously has Eklund ever been right about ANYTHING? I don;t know why people continue to read his "throw **** against the wall and see what sticks" approach.

I called this trade to Dallas around 4 weeks ago. Its a good fit for both teams. A second or third round pick and Esa Lindell would work just fine.
The cap space we gain is HUGE.
Lindell can step in and play next year, no issues there.

I would do 14 + for Fowler 8 days a week. He's an elite skater, passer, and well above average defender. Elite N°3 and PP QB, Quality N°2 that still has upside to grow into IMO. That for a mid 1st and a yute is a no brainer.

I don't think adding a Fowler/Shattenkirk gets you close enough to where you need to be.

It's tempting, but I'd rather they deal pieces from the core for picks/prospects and do a proper rebuild.
