What a depressing season. This one hurt more than past seasons.
Only on the current Oilers could we have a final game in which:
(a) Draisaitl magically hits 50
(b) minutes later, McDavid gets injured
(c) Draisaitl goes to tie Ovechkin for the Richard trophy and is denied by a high-stick with 30 seconds left

Hopefully the injury isn't a serious one and it's just one that hurts like a mother but you can recover from within a month or so.

It occurs to me Koskinen played much better having a few days off. Maybe the strategy of playing him into the ground wasn’t the right one, hey there Hitch? After all, teams in the West need two goalies, or so someone said once.

This team didn't learn from working Talbot too much.

Hopefully the next coach gets a viable backup/1B option for Koskinen.

Wasn't able to watch the game, but I'm happy to hear Drai got number 50. What an absolute stud.

Or from running McDavid into the ground so much that he looks like a zombie halfway through the season.

It’s always darkest before it gets darker.

Did you honestly think it would get worse after last season?
I really, genuinely thought that last season was rock bottom. I didn't have any expectations this season but I didn't expect THIS.
There is no rock bottom when it comes to the Oilers, just an endless pit.
