He only needs 12 more points in his final 4 games to reach that "guaranteed" 80+ point projection that one poster suggested was a lock.

Caught part of the first period of the Bridgeport game. Intermission presently.

On Koivula his skating reminds me a bit like Dylan Strome's. Will be interesting to see if he can transition to the NHL? Seems to have the smarts and puck skills for the show. His quickness off the puck will be what to look for that will enhance or hinder his chances.

Too early to gauge for me on having a strong opinion either way.

I'm not sure I'm buying that logic.

This past year's draft prospects look great but for many years prior to that we were in the bottom tier yet the NCAA prospects ignored us (or we ignored them).

Most college free agents don't amount to much. To me it is more hype than anything else.

While true, the risk is so negligible and enough do pan out that it's still worth going for. They cost nothing in assets to obtain, and the salary is negligible in the minors on an ELC. All you really give up is one of your 50 contracts and a minors roster spot. If their odds are higher than some of your other prospects at that position, the potential upside, even if unlikely, is more than worth that risk.
