Going to upscale. A Mercedes truck will be there.
Yes. It looks kind of like an oldish high school to me, but I think it’s a really nice concept. Seems against the grain of modernism which is cool.
I think the more important thing is the amenities and facilities for the fans and players. That’s all sure to be top notch.
There was a perspective rendering or drawing I saw on Twitter about a month ago that gives you a better view.
I’m definitely going to be searching lol
Very nice. The whole modern/sleek/Bundesliga/amoeboid aesthetic like Rogers Place doesn’t really appeal to me.
Thats fantastic news. Now get the shovels in the dirt and get to work before something bad happens and the project gets nixed before work starts.
I’m inclined to agree with you. I saw those renderings but I wasn’t sure if they were official. Feels like New York/Long island to me. Clean Industrial look.
Not siren if official but this seems to be the placement for everything. Surprised the hotel looks so small.
Definitely like this. The whole hyper modern design is a bit played out in my opinion, so if this is a better fit for the aesthetic of the area it's a great choice.
That design is sick. Love it. Thanks for the pictures.
Maybe I’m thinking of something completely different or only one team but the Bundesliga always reminds me of “crazy arenas”.
Clearly I did not study architecture.
Avs fan here....awesome looking prototype (of final design?). Congrats NYI.
This looks like it could take a while haha.
Scott Malkin is paying all of the overtime/holiday costs for the contractors to work 24/7/365 until the arena is done.
Maybe not thread worthy, not sure. but it's a huge deal for us after 20 years of uncertainty...

I like it!
Big fan of that design too. Looks brilliant. Think it's the best looking arena in the league.
Nowadays when they design so called "amazing" buildings it's almost always some crazy looking one-piece monolith. It's especially prevalent in arenas, and you get these spaceship (or bicycle helmet) looking buildings that are cool I guess at first glance but after you've seen them a couple of times they get kinda old. But this one has that old-timey feel of more human-like design, human scale, as well as organic design. Rather than being a huge one-piece art-like structure, it's a big structure made smaller with all these different little elements that a human eye fixates on every time you see it and it never gets boring. It's uncomfortable for autistic people (like the fathers of modernistic architecture) who can't deal with the sensory overload and want simple looking one-piece things, but I think it's nice for pretty much everyone else.
Wow, that looks sharp! I will really miss the constant Honda jokes though and the first thing I looked for on that schematic was if there was still a space down there for one. Maybe they can hang one from the rafters in tribute?
Edit : Didn't see some of them were already posted.
Groundbreaking. Wait till all the other 30 teams hear about this
