Byram-Dahlin pairing has reignited my fandom a bit. I'm incredibly intrigued by that pairing going forward.

That being said, me being a negative nancy seems to being good juju, so I'll just say the Sabres have no chance of making the playoffs.

In my ever-reaching quest to be optimistic each day, I'll say that I'm thrilled there are still hockey games that legitimately mean something at this point of the year. I figured after the November/December doldrums, we'd be long-past this season by this point, but here we are, with an actual, exciting game on March 14th!

I saw your comment and was going to edit my post and then got lazy. I think we can still go with a tiger pit for other reasons.

In fact, you know what really made me not edit my post? I tried to put a gif of a moping George Michael Bluth, but couldn't get any of the links to embed. So i gave up

I can just see them digging through it after the game and being excited to find they have caught Sebastian Aho. The disappointment starts when they get him home.
