Kovi was never coming to the Island. Our money was always intended to be spent on JT, a goalie and at least 1 x top 4 defenseman. If JT doesnt stick, Kovi really would never have helped us - not really a good fit for what was remaining.

Good for LA, I see how he fits them and where they are at.

I think it'd be a great move for them. His contract was the issue IMO, didn't justify the play but the play and leadership still was big. We would do ourselves a solid if we could bring him in.

I like Howard more than Anderson, but it's shorter term and a higher AAV. I think we get Anderson if we also get Karlsson.

That’s a lot of $ on the books. We’d have to be sending a bad contract the other way.

That’s Craig Anderson from Ottawa, not Freddy.

I’d so much rather Jimmy Howard than Anderson though. Still see some upside in Howard. Not so much anymore with Anderson.
