Is Tyson Barrie the best defenseman on the Avs?

Hardly ever watch the Avs, but my ill informed self would take Barrie over EJ. Barrie seems more dynamic offensively and he is younger.

This would be the only legit reason to pick Barrie over EJ. EJ has the potential to fall off much sooner because of his play style but theirs no doubt hes the more capable dman. Hes less dynamic offensively(although he's no slouch with the puck) but he seems to get injured ever season for a patch of games and have a hard time finding his game again.
