Is there a province that can boast has a better first line right now than Nova Scotia?

Never been to Halifax?

Nova Scotia is fantastic. Halifax is a decent city with lots to do. Tonnes of history, particularly military. Clubs and bars, plus an old brewery in the very centre of the city of that's your thing. In the summer you can surf in the ocean, deep sea fishing including shark fishing. Whale watching. A good university. Halifax is a clean and picturesque city. There is tonnes to do.

It's fitting that your username is the same way that Joe Dirt attempts to spruce up his last name.

Pretty hard to believe but Nova Scotia probably does have the best line. Ontario could match it in terms of talent but the Nova Scotia line would probably function very well and be pretty well rounded.

Sitting at a desk.
Alright here's my attempt at a list. Thoughts on the rankings? Ontario was difficult; Marner, Giroux, RoR and Tavares all on the outside.

1. Nova Scotia: Marchand/Crosby/MacKinnon

2. Ontario: Scheifele/McDavid/Seguin

3. British Columbia: Benn/Barzal/Johansen

4. Alberta: Hall/Point/Debrusk

5. Manitoba: Domi/Toews/Stone

6. Saskatchewan: Schwartz/Getzlaf/Schenn

7. Quebec: Drouin/Bergeron/Marchessault

Disqualified: New Brunswick, Newfoundland+Labrador, PEI

Not bad for the 7th biggest province.
ya, that is pretty awesome. I used to build provincial EA teams, and the entire roster of elite Maratimes players was pretty much Al MacIniss at one time.

It really just hit me how much of a talent nose dive Quebec has taken and how historically underwhelming B.C. has been.

Quebec has always had some elite talent come through but it seems to have dried after lecavalier and St Louis.

I don't think bc has been bad historically, especially if you look at the dmen, but today is probably not their finest hour.

How about we extend that to a full starting 6?

Still very impressive for Nova Scotia to have that line.
