So is the bye week helping or hurting us?

Well, I think it was Joe Smith that tweeted out that teams coming off of their bye weeks are like 14-22 in their first 5 games. We can't afford to go 2-3 post-break.
Tampa's playoffs hopes could hardly be on a thinner line. A single losing streak and it's over, losing games in regulation time and it's over, Division rivals getting hot and it's over. This is it, the team has its back against the wall. The only way they still can sneak into the playoffs is very simple : Win and win a lot.
And hope there aren't a lot of 3 point games between division rivals. Too many of those will sink us too.
You know, whatever is expected to happen, the Lightning do the opposite. So I wouldn't really speculate about this kind of stuff and just watch what happens.
I think a lot depends on the intensity of their practices this week.
I don't think that means no practice at all. They don't practice. It's a week off.
I don't think that means no practice at all.
They aren't allowed to hold practice.
So 7 days not on the ice then they jump right into a game? If that's true that is ridiculously stupid.
