Is Jagr the best player from Europe that has ever played the game in the NHL of all time
No. Hasek, Fetisov, and Lidstrom.
I think it's a 3 way tie between Jagr, Hasek, and Lidstrom.
Valeri Kharlamov, Vladislav Tretiak
zero NHL games, both HOFers
Counting NHLers only, it's Hasek, then Jagr/Lidstrom in a dead heat.
Lidstrom easily, then Jagr then Hasek.
Interesting.... Jagr missed 4 season from the NHL yet still managed to be 2nd all time in points.. 4 years straigh Art Ross ... for Lidstrom to be above Jagr he would have to rate near or same level as Bobby Orr
It goes without saying that Lidstrom is the 2nd best dman behind Orr.
Ray Bourque says "hello".
No it doesn't.
Bourque, Harvey, Shore, even Potvin all have extremely strong claims for it.
yes, hes #3
Not for Nothing Jagr has to be the greatest European player of all time. Quite honestly i don't see anyone cathing up to him points wise eeeeveer.
(no it doesn't)
Hasek or Jagr, close call.
F - Jagr
D - Lidstrom
G - Hasek
and the order can be debated. For me it's Jagr, Hasek, Lidstrom but I'm okay with any order another individual sees them in.
I have no idea how anyone can not say Hasek. He was the nearest comparable to the almost impossible saying of a "one man team"; and his accolades and numbers back it up.
He's arguably the greatest player of all time especially playing the toughest position in his revolutionary goaltending method-- that no one else has ever come close to replicating again.
On pure hockey ability I'd say Fetisov is the best.
Hasek stole a few harts from Jagr.
I absolutely love Jagr, one of my all-time favorite players, but I rank Lidstrom above him.
