it was an extraordinarily dumb play from a veteran. even if you 'think' it was an offsides for sure, you use that to your advantage by trying to run a breakout while the guy is trapped in your zone. no pass from me on that play.

I think I've got this right but I probably don't......I can't remember who it was (I think it was either Franson or Jones) who did a major league job of assuming there was a penalty about to be called because when he went into the corner to touch the puck a Hawks player was gaining on him quickly and if it wouldn't have been called he would've taken it right away near our own net.

not disagreeing or agreeing but I don't think I heard the linesman yell out "offside" like they usually do ... you play to the whistle, that is on Cody.

He could've been trying to draw an intentional offside which would've been an offensive zone faceoff.

I can't believe we were playing Franson over Bartley or Volchenkov.

Another side note, and just gathering an opinion on this but what about moving Ellis to pair with Josi? It seems like Josi is playing cautious to help Seth Jones out as much as possible. Ellis is a much smarter positional player than Jones. Thoughts?
